China Crude Steel Daily Output up 2.7% MoM in September

China’s daily output of crude steel grew 2.7 per cent in September on a monthly basis, according to National Bureau of Statistics.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 19 (SMM) – China’s daily output of crude steel grew 2.7 per cent in September on a monthly basis, according to National Bureau of Statistics.  

In September, China produced 68.17 million tonnes of crude steel, down 0.6 per cent MoM but up 3.1 per cent YoY, based on the data. 

Pig iron production was 59.32 million tonnes in September, down 1.4 per cent MoM but up 4.8 per cent YoY. China’s finished steel production was 98.09 million tonnes during the same month, up 0.2 per cent MoM and up 3.6 per cent YoY.
